Spectecular Extension

New office building for STATEC BINDER

At the beginning of the year the employees of STATEC BINDER moved into their new office building. This was the end of the 18-month planning and construction phase in which some of the employees had meanwhile been accommodated in container offices.

The extension had become necessary as the number of employees had more than doubled in the last 5 years. In 2016, the land east of the
existing office building was acquired by the municipality of Gleisdorf.

The planning and construction supervision was carried out by the renowned Graz architects Domenig & Wallner. The extension and renovation of the existing building was carried out by Granit Bau Gleisdorf. The challenge of the companies involved was to complete the project as quickly as possible without disturbing the daily work of the company and its employees.

Special thanks are due to DI Gerhard Wallner from the architectural office Domenig & Wallner and Mr Rumpl und Ditrich from Granit Bau Gleisdorf, who have continuously supported the management of STATEC BINDER during the entire construction phase and have thus
contributed an important part to the successful implementation of this project.
